Kay Montante (Miss Kay) is a private voice teacher, certified music educator, vocal music director, and choral director. She holds a BM in vocal music education from SUNY Fredonia and a MM in vocal music education from the Eastman School of Music. After teaching K-5 vocal and general music for six years in the Penfield CSD, she opened up her own private voice studio in Webster in 2022. In addition to teaching private lessons and music directing at WTFY, she directs the Webster Homeschool Chorus and teaches early childhood music classes at the Webster Parks and Recreation. This summer will be her thirteenth show that she has music directed and her fourth at WTFY! Her mission is to instill the joy of singing and theatre in our youth and provide a safe and welcoming space for students to express themselves and grow as performers.
